Senior Pictures | Rising Sun High School | Cecil County, MD Senior Portrait Photographer

This high school senior is simply gorgeous.   Not only that, she is so sweet and easy going.  I had a blast!  You would never know that it was 40 degrees that day.  I felt so bad for her, but through her chattering teeth, she just played along and made my job easy.  Thanks so much Miss G, for an awesome time.  I wish you all the best as you graduate this year and your future endeavors.  You'll do great!

Red Barn Family Portraits | Cecil County Family Photographer

I am ridiculously behind on my blogging, and will be playing catch up.  These pictures were taken before Christmas, actually before December, if that gives you an idea.  When discussing this shoot with the mom, she really wanted a red barn to be in the pictures.  Lucky for me, I live in a fairly rural area.  In my search for a lovely red barn, I happened to meet a very nice man who owned a big red barn.  He didn't live there, but gave us permission to use his property.  It was a great place to bring this beautiful family.  We had a lot of fun, and the kids really enjoyed running around and being little models.   I dare say even  the Dad had a good time.  There are some challenges to photographing larger families.  There are more faces to see and make sure look great, and trying to capture emotions that reflect what is going on can be a bit of a challenge.  However, it is a really neat thing is to be a part of their little family unit for a little while.  To see siblings help each other laugh and to see the love a parent has for each of their children.  Photographing large families brings me back to the fun, and often craziness that was the large family I grew up in.  Thank you M family for playing with me.  You are a beautiful family inside out.

Wishing you the Happiest New Year | Cecil County Photographer

I hope all your holidays were wonderful and full of happiness.  I had such a great time with my family and friends.  My two young boys are at such a fun age, and we all had a blast this past season.  I was able to take the month of December off from my photography business.  It gave me a chance to work on some personal projects, spend time with my cute boys and hubby, and to reflect on my first year in business.   I want to thank my clients, friends and my family for all the support and love I was given this past year.  I could NOT have done it without you.  I am really looking forward to a fantastic 2012, both in my business and in my personal life.
After a lot of thought, I have a few changes that I will be making to my business for this year.  The first change is that I will have a limited number of sessions per month.  My boys are still so young, and they will be in school all day before I know it.   I want to enjoy my time with them as much as possible, so I will be limiting how many sessions I will do.   I have some great new vendors I will be working with, to offer my clients more products to choose from.   So stay tuned for that.  I have updated my blog to reflect my recent work and my new pricing.    I look forward to working with new and returning clients this upcoming year. Please feel free to shoot me an e-mail if you have any further questions at brittanynairphotography@gmail.com.

It wouldn't be a post without a picture or two, so I thought I would share some fun moments from this past year.  Thanks again for all your support.

Fall Family Fun | Cecil County Family Photographer

I love when I walk away from a family photo session and feel like the family is just a little closer than they were before.  I also love when I can capture some true emotions that are taking place during a session.  It makes me feel like I am doing my job and happy with what I am able to get.  This family was great to work with, and I could really feel and see how much they love each other.  They also totally trusted me and let me drag them all over the place, which wins them extra brownie points.  Thank you for letting me in your life for a bit.

Apple Picking | Cecil County Family Photographer

A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of spending the evening with this adorable family at a local orchard.  These boys are as sweet as they are cute, and being a mom of two boys myself I really felt like I was in my element chasing these two charmers around.  The family was up for anything, and just went with the flow.  I am so glad we were able to get these pictures while the fall was still upon us.  I love the fall!
